Job Description

Teknion's law department is looking for a practical and motivated law clerk to support management of its files and its day to day operations. You will also be tasked with diverse general corporate matters. This role is ideal for a self starter looking to learn and grow in their career.


What will you be responsible for in this role?




Upload, revise, organize and manage the law department's repository of legal documents in its contract management software. Review basic legal documentation such as non-disclosure agreements. Draft basic corporate minutebook documents such as resolutions and manage such records. Complete basic trademark searches for product names. Respond to day to day inquiries. Manage legal invoices for the law department. Create and review correspondence for other groups. Other duties as required.

What experience and skills are preferred for this role?




Completion of law clerk program or equivalent 1-3 years experience as law clerk or general administration Familiarity with legal software for contract lifecycle management, corporate minutebook keeping is an asset Experience in corporate and commercial law is an asset Very organized with a strong attention to detail Problem solving, task oriented and independent
