Job Responsibilities:
Drafting Probate Applications
Drafting Corporate documents such as annual minutes, resolutions, by-laws, articles of incorporation, and articles of amalgamation
Prepare real estate documentation for purchases, sales, mortgages, and refinancings
Providing clerical, administrative, and general office support including but not limited to scheduling, calendar management, and answering telephone calls
Maintaining files in accordance with office procedures including opening and closing files
Managing Real Estate, Corporate, Wills and Estates files through all stages of the legal process
Previous experience as a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft and proofread legal documents
Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
Experience using PC Law and Teraview
Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
