Law 90 Beneficiary Attendant

The private seniors' residence Le St-Augustin is seeking a part-time daytime position as a beneficiary attendant (Law 90). Candidates must have an AP/RPA or DEP (vocational diploma) in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC certificate, or 5,000 hours of experience in the last 5 years as a PAB*
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 16 hours/week, 7:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., with every other weekend off.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics Answering call bells Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity . Proactively assist and support the residents Respond to all emergency situations While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
PDSB training Up to date CPR / AED training certificates Law 90 training AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
