Our Housekeepers perform a variety of cleaning, housekeeping and laundry activities to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for residents, their families and their colleagues.

To be successful as our new Housekeeping Team Member, you will:

Be committed to following tasks/procedures while completing housekeeping duties Work independently Handle residents' and Hygate's personal items, and equipment with care and respect Respect the rights and dignity of all residents, families, team members and visitors at Hygate Address any requests with professionalism and care Have an awareness and understanding of infection control practices, workplace hazardous materials and chemicals (WHMIS), as well as, all relevant health and safety procedures Must obtain a vulnerable sector police check and a 2 Step TB test.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.68 per hour

Experience:

Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
