Job Description

South Country Village is a Christian based Seniors Care Facility that offers a range of living options that covers the span of the care continuum.

This position will be responsible for the service and delivery of facility laundry. Portering, sorting, washing, drying, folding, lifting, bending, stretching and standing for long periods of time are required in this position.

Knowledge or prior use of commercial laundry equipment is ideal. Candidates must be able to verbally communicate in English so others can easily interpret and understand instructions fully. Organizational skills, memorization, attention to detail and the ability to communicate well with our senior population is a must.

A criminal records check with a vulnerable sector such is required.

FTE is 0.94 or 210 hrs per 6 week schedule rotation or an average of 35 hrs/week.

Shift times consist of Monday to Thursday 7:30am -3:30pm. Friday 7:30am - 2pm with one Friday off every six weeks.

The successful candidate can port hours of prior experience to determine starting wage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.75-$19.16 per hour
