Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Laundry Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both wet and dry-cleaning processes, sorting, folding and packing, spot-treating stains, operating washers, dryers and finishing equipment. Experience in textile restoration, such as handling garments and linens affected by fire, smoke, or water damage, is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial washers, dryers, wet and dry cleaning machines Pre-treat stains and inspect garments and textiles for quality control Sort, tag, press, fold, and package items according to service standards Assist with textile restoration procedures (when applicable) Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow proper procedures for handling specialty fabrics and delicate items

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial laundry setting Proficiency in both wet and dry-cleaning processes Experience with spotting and pre-treatment techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Restoration experience (smoke, fire, or water-damaged textiles) is an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
