Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort, wash, dry, and store Room and Food & Beverage linens to maintain like-new condition.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laundry machinery, reporting any issues to Maintenance.
• Maximize laundry department efficiency by tracking linen and chemical cleaner inventories.
• Provide laundering services for items such as cooks' uniforms and mop heads for other departments.
• Handle lost and found items efficiently by reporting and delivering them to the Housekeeping office.
• Work with a cooperative team, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations.
• Be cross-trained to assist with other roles, including Houseperson, Room Attendant, and Night Attendant as needed.
• Develop confidence in decision-making to exceed guest expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping environment is an asset.
