Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' experience.

Responsibilities

Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens and garments efficiently. Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to type and color. Inspect items for stains or damage before washing and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and work surfaces. Adhere to safety guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.

Skills

Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundry operations and cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
