Join us.Click for This is Marquise Hospitality video!Job SummaryHow you will make an impact:You will be responsible for performing laundry services including cleaning and distributing linens to clients.As a Laundry Aide, you will:
Properly sort, wash and dry linens following the approved laundry procedures
Fold, count, and stack linens following approved laundry procedures
Collect soiled linens along with redistributing clean linens
Transport supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas
Routinely inspect linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens
Maintain the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition
About you:
Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry or equivalent combination of training and experience is an asset
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Able to operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, linen press, and clothing labeler
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team setting
Physically able to carry out duties of the position
