CNC Programmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with experience in operating various CNC machines. This role involves creating and modifying programs for CNC equipment, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of parts. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and proficiency with tools and machinery, contributing to the efficient operation of our production processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations. Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate CNC machines, including Fanuc and Mazatrol systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize power tools and other machinery to complete tasks effectively. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC programming languages, particularly for Fanuc and Mazatrol systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Experience with machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding. Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation in a manufacturing environment. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification preferred). Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
