Part Time to Full Time Body Removal Service Professional

About the Company:

We are responsible for safely and effectively transporting deceased individuals from hospitals, care homes and residences to designated funeral homes in the lower mainland and beyond. We take pride in the service we provide to our grieving family's as well as our clients

Work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment with what can be at time challenging scenarios.

24 hours on call

Physically and emotionally strong with the ability to lift/carry/pull a minimum of

200 lb

Excellent interpersonal skills, know how to interact professionally and courteously and maintain a professional image.

Cooperates with first responders, police, hospital staff or care facilities and accommodate their processes and procedures.

Attention to details with following processes, paperwork, and deceased identification

Current Class 5 BC driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Comfortable working and driving in all weather conditions.

This is a body removal position. You are required to physically pick up decedents at site of death then transfer them to the appropriate drop off morgue. Need to be physically strong. Capable of pulling up to 300 lbs on a stretcher. Good penmanship as you are required to fill out paperwork for each transfer. Ok with shift work. Work well as a team and independently. Capable of driving long hours. Must be able to tolerate bodily fluids. Not for the faint of heart
