Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Technician to join our team. The Laser Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser equipment, performing procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing high-quality service to our clients or patients. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Laser Equipment:
- Set up and calibrate laser machines according to specifications and procedure requirements.
- Perform laser procedures as per the provided guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laser machinery promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory requirements while operating laser equipment.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols for clients and staff.
- Client Interaction:
- Consult with clients or patients to understand their needs and explain laser procedures.
- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions and care recommendations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment maintenance, and any incidents.
- Prepare reports on equipment performance and procedure outcomes as required.
- Training and Development:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in laser technology and techniques.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification or associate degree in laser technology, biomedical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience operating laser equipment in a clinical, cosmetic, or industrial setting.
- Experience with specific types of laser systems (e.g., medical, cosmetic, industrial) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications for laser operation may be required, depending on the industry and specific job requirements.
- Ability to work in a clean and controlled environment.
- May involve exposure to laser radiation and requires adherence to strict safety protocols.
- Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods, lifting and moving equipment, and wearing protective gear.
- Flexible schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
