Stratica Dermatology is a specialized dermatology practice that prioritizes excellent patient care. Our facility promotes overall wellness through medical and cosmetic dermatological services provided by experienced Dermatologists and General Practitioners. Stratica Dermatology was founded in 2005 and continues to provide diverse treatment protocols for dermatologic disorders for all age groups.

PURPOSE

Stratica Dermatology is looking to add a

part-time Certified Laser Technician

to our clinic in St. Albert. The ideal candidate for this role has variable availability, is self-motivated, and has a strong interest in the Dermatology field. This individual is a strong customer service, learn a wide range of cosmetic services, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing laser and cosmetic treatments such as C02 resurfacing laser, Pico laser, Derma V vascular laser, Potenza microneedling, chemical peels, and facials

Possess extensive knowledge on medical grade skincare lines and the benefits.

Exhibit exceptional proven sales skills to suggest services and medical-grade skincare.

Experience conducting thorough consultations to ensure conversion and recommendation of appropriate treatments based on client concern.

Providing superior customer service and communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and proper patient education.

Comfortable marketing themselves on social media channels and in clinic to ensure schedule is full.

Flexibility to conduct consults and treatments on the fly during doctors clinic when needed.

Willingness to help at front desk and perform MOA duties when schedule is not busy.

Maintain detailed treatment records through use of Juno EMR and Zenoti

Ensure a clean and safe work environment for clients and staff. Perform sterilization of cosmetic tools when needed.

Possess a strong vested interest in learning and development to advance knowledge of treatment and products.

Participate in in-house and out of house training as required.

Always follow clinic policies and procedures.

Perform staff treatments when schedule allows.

Perform other duties as requested by management and doctors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certified Laser Technician certificate from an accredited institution

1+ years of experience as a Certified Laser Technician in Med Spa or Dermatology clinic

Experience with ZO Skin Health, Skinceuticals, and Alastin (preferred.)

Experience with Zenoti (preferred)

Existing social media presence and following (preferred)

Existing patient following.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work as a team and independently.

Flexible availability, willingness to work weekends and evenings
