We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, quality inspection processes, and the ability to work with various hand tools and machinery. The Laser Operator will ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
Must have experience nesting jobs
Operate laser cutting machine to fabricate parts based on provided blueprints and specifications.
Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
Utilize hand tools, calipers, and machinery for precise measurements and adjustments.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.
Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area at all times.
Assist in programming laser cutting machines as needed for specific projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in operating laser cutting machines is required.
Experience with machining and programming is a plus.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and quality inspection techniques.
Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and basic math for measurements is essential.
Ability to operate cranes safely within the manufacturing environment is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is an advantage.
