DYDD Systems Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laser & Brake Press Operator to join our growing production team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves operating fiber laser cutting machines and CNC brake presses to produce high-quality metal components based on technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Laser Cutting Operations

Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines to cut or engrave parts according to design files Set up equipment, load materials, and adjust machine settings for each job Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines and workspace Troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate with maintenance for complex repairs

Brake Press Operations

Set up and operate CNC brake press equipment to bend and form sheet metal parts Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and part specifications to ensure accuracy Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality Inspect finished parts for precision, conformance, and overall quality standards

General Production Support

Maintain accurate production and quality records Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company procedures Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with team members, including operators and welders, to meet production goals

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Steel-toed safety boots required

Experience & Technical Skills:

Minimum 1 year of experience operating laser cutting equipment or CNC machinery Experience operating a Brake Press Proficient in custom forming and layout of metal materials Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and specification drawings Comfortable inputting requirements via CNC interfaces Trained in the safe use of Brake Press equipment Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.) Working knowledge of laser software such as LightBurn, RDWorks, or AutoCAD Basic computer literacy

Pay: $21-$24 per hour
