Team & Culture These positions will report to the Traffic Control Supervisors and provide field services for Traffic Control projects in Hope, BC. As a technician, you will work with an experienced traffic team and will be expected to execute successful completion of tasks based on the expectations of the customer. Having completed your education and received your technical diploma or relevant credentials you have practical field experience backed by technical knowledge. You are confident in your skills and are a strong communicator, have a natural ability to adapt to many variables, and able to perform under high pressure situations and timelines.
Expectations

• Experience with the demands of traffic control.
  
• Ability to take direction in dynamic environment.
  
• Serve as a point of contact for the supervisors.
• Have a sound understanding of, and field experience in heavy civil construction activities as it relates to traffic control.
• Able to present understanding of field work to supervisors and provide support where needed.
• Natural ability to adapt quickly to changes in environment and application of work.
• Able to execute decisions with confidence.
• Be well versed in regulatory & industry standards and be able to adapt to potential new requirements.
• Take initiative, collaborate with others, open to taking direction, and always willing to think outside the box.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• 2 years experience in similar role.
• Strength in working with dynamic environments.
• This is a camp position if not based in Hope, BC.
• Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
