A Branch of Spruce It Up Garden Centre, Spruce It Up Landscape Design & Construction provides high quality custom landscape design and installation to Calgary and the surrounding area. We are looking for a full-time Landscape Designer /Coordinator to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

Meet with clients to understand their vision and needs Design and present creative, functional, and stunning landscape plans Following up on leads, design consultations, quotes for customers, project design Prepare proposals and close sales on landscape projects Collaborate with our experienced installation team to bring designs to life Build long-term client relationships through outstanding service Handle and resolve customer service issues Manage and organize emails, faxes, and calls for the landscaping division Maintain workflow and data accuracy Manage and organize job data to ensure material and labour amounts match the orginal quote, and record any discrepancies Send out invoices for completed jobs and follow up for payments from customers Regularly check material inventory and order material when needed

Qualifications

Strong background in landscape design (degree, diploma, or equivalent experience) Proven ability to sell and close projects (sales experience an asset) Creative eye with knowledge of plants, hardscapes, and outdoor living trends Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience in administrative management and support Working knowledge of Microsoft & Adobe products Ability to prioritize and handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Self-motivated, customer-focused, and organized A high attention to detail with the ability to meet project deadlines Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new technologies and design techniques Basic horticultural knowledge and knowledge of hardiness zones of Calgary and surrounding area is an asset
