Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment. Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures Cut grass, rake, aerate, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor Ability to work outside for long periods of time during all weather conditions

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes is a plus. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace. Class G drivers license preferred but not required.
