Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and horticulture. This role involves various tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of commercial properties. The Landscape Laborer will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results in landscaping projects.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as lawn equipment, snow blowers, and snow plows for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution. Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design plans effectively. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or repair. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas. Support construction activities related to landscaping, including building retaining walls or pathways.

Experience

Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, gardening techniques, and plant care. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment used in landscaping tasks. Experience with irrigation systems and their installation is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
