Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Dig trenches, holes, and other necessary excavations for planting and irrigation systems. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and gardens. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching. Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and saws. Knowledge of irrigation techniques and systems for effective water management. Ability to dig and prepare soil for planting with attention to detail. Experience with hand tools including shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices to ensure healthy plant growth. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Capability to build various landscape structures like fences or raised beds.
