Description of Duties:

Hedge trimming (must be comfortable working on orchard ladders, 12 to 16 ft tall) Mowing and edging lawns Weeding, leaf raking, and planting Mulching and spreading soil Pruning and trimming Pressure-washing Other tasks as required

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in landscape maintenance Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence (clean driver's abstract required) Good plant ID knowledge and/or education in horticulture Experience with hand tools and power equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, weed-eaters, saws, etc. Basic hardscaping skills highly desirable (landscape lighting and irrigation system installation) Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision Willingness to work in all weather conditions Physically fit as this is a physically demanding position (you must be in good physical condition, be able to lift weight of 50 lbs or more, and be able to bend, crouch, twist, stand and/or walk for long periods of time) Legally able to work in Canada
