We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring that they are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution. Conduct gardening activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching to promote healthy plant growth. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment. Participate in excavation projects as needed, ensuring proper techniques are followed for site preparation. Collaborate with team members to complete landscape construction projects on time and to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of horticulture principles and practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with operating excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
