Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for executing landscaping projects, ensuring the health and aesthetics of gardens, lawns, and other green spaces.

Duties

Operate hand tools and power tools to perform various landscaping tasks. Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Irrigate gardens and lawns effectively to promote healthy plant growth. Maintain existing landscapes by mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching. Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed. Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and working in outdoor environments.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to build various landscape features with attention to detail. Experience in irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Knowledge of gardening techniques for plant care and maintenance. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices to uphold aesthetic standards. Bobcat and equipment experience a plus Class 5 minimum 3 years commercial landscaping minimum experience Knowledge of Irrigation systems and asset Use of 1 to 2 ton trucks an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
