Dogwood Landscape Co. is a local family run company, with a focus on high-quality landscape installations and year round residential maintenance.

We are looking for the perfect person to join our team and grow with us! We are seeking a motivated individual with adequate horticulture knowledge or experience to help assist with our growing maintenance division. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, professional interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail. A class 5 drivers license is required.

Duties

Perform a range of horticultural maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: lawn care, comprehensive garden bed care, pruning and hedging, pest management, planting and fertilization. Assist with landscape installations and projects. Assessment of maintenance properties and prioritization of tasks. Safe and responsible operation of company truck and power tools such as string line trimmers and hedgers. Maintaining maintenance records for each property.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the field, or equivalent education. Knowledge of common ornamental and native plant names. Knowledge of pruning and experience working with hedging equipment. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in your presented work. Experience working independently or in a crew lead position an asset. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Punctuality and excellent time management skills. Valid BC Drivers License - Class 5
