and work hands-on in daily horticultural operations.

This is a

part-time position (40 hrs/week)

with the potential to transition into

full-time

after a successful

3-month probation period

What You'll Be Doing

Leading, coaching, and motivating the landscaping crew Performing grounds and horticultural maintenance (e.g., lawn care, pruning, planting, hedge trimming) Safely operating landscaping tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, blowers, ladders, etc.) Driving a company vehicle (truck with trailer) Ensuring all services meet quality and safety standards Communicating effectively with clients and team members

Required Qualifications & Experience

Certifications (at least one of the following):

BCLNA certification Horticulture diploma/degree Apprenticeship or journeyman trade qualification

Experience:

3-5 years in horticulture, including team supervision Strong knowledge of plant care, pruning, and lawn maintenance Minimum 1 year of landscaping maintenance (required)

Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in the safe use of landscaping tools and equipment Valid BC Driver's License; able to drive a truck with trailer Strong communication skills (spoken and written English) Physically fit: able to lift 25-50 lbs and work safely outdoors Team-oriented, with leadership and problem-solving skills
