Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including the use of hand tools and power tools, ensuring that gardens and outdoor spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Perform landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, and weeding. Dig, build, and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features. Irrigate plants and gardens to ensure proper hydration and growth. Assist in the installation of new plants, trees, and shrubs according to design specifications. Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing basic mechanical checks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge to assist in equipment maintenance is a plus. A strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is necessary. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 44 per week
