Landscape Labourer (summer Employment)
Job Description
Reporting to the Public Works Superintendent, while working collaboratively with the Infrastructure and Development Department, to complete the maintenance and upkeep of our local community grounds and senior housing. The Landscape Labourer will receive training in the use of small equipment including but not limited to, riding lawnmowers and brush saws. The Landscape Labourer will assist with the minor repairs and maintenance of our seniors and social housing in the community. The Landscape Labourer will assist with the construction and maintenance of our Powwow Grounds in preparation for the annual Powwow. The Landscape Labourer will participate in daily huddles with the Public Works Team to coordinate their daily activities and duties.
This position is funded through the Government of Canada's Summer Jobs program.
