Duties
The hedge trimmer is a member of the cedar hedge trimming crew. He uses various power tools and ladders on a daily basis, and takes part in tool maintenance. This is a job for fit and motivated individuals who are comfortable with heights. This position is also very suitable for students.
There is potential to work alongside the arborists on the other side of the business, learning some basic key skills at the same time.
Skills and Requirements
Willingness to work 8-hour days in difficult weather conditions;
Comfortable with heights
Reliable and positive team player;
Valid driver's license and mobile phone;
Experience in landscaping or any other outdoor and physical work an asset.
Season
Monday to Friday, May to mid-October
Statutory holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.02-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
