Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including planting, digging, and building garden features. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding. Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants. Maintain garden areas by regularly checking for pests and diseases. Build and maintain landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on schedule. Follow safety protocols while working in various outdoor environments.

Skills

Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is essential. Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment and troubleshooting issues. Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners. Experience with power tools including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers. Ability to dig effectively while maintaining proper posture to prevent injury. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements. Strong attention to detail for maintaining high-quality landscape aesthetics. Capability to build various landscape structures as needed.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $16.82-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
