Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and reliable

Landscape Laborers

to join our construction crew. This role is hands-on and physically demanding, working outdoors in all weather conditions. You'll assist with site preparation, grading, installation of hardscape and softscape features, and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling. Install hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and pergolas. Assist with planting trees, shrubs, and perennials, and laying sod (no ongoing maintenance). Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery Load and unload materials, ensuring efficient use on job sites. Follow directions from crew leaders and supervisors to support project completion. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. Represent the company with professionalism and respect toward clients and team members.
Qualifications

Previous experience in landscape construction, carpentry, concrete, or a related trade is an asset but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, digging, and working in various weather conditions. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability. Reliable transportation to job sites. Safety-conscious mindset (First Aid/WHMIS or other safety certifications are an asset).

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.75-$20.00 per hour
