Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including planting, digging, and building garden features. A strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure the aesthetic appeal of gardens and outdoor spaces. Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to proper planting techniques. Build garden structures such as raised beds, trellises, or fences as needed. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete various landscaping projects. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Assist in the installation of landscape features including mulch, rocks, and decorative elements. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment used in landscaping is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor. Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and garden design will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential for this role.
