Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and landscaping, with the ability to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for planting, pruning, and maintaining garden beds. Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to ensure optimal growth. Identify and manage weeds, pests, and diseases in the garden. Assist in the design and installation of new garden areas or landscape features. Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after use to ensure longevity and safety. Collaborate with team members to achieve landscaping goals and maintain high standards of garden aesthetics.

Experience

Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with using both hand tools (such as shovels, rakes, and pruners) and power tools (such as lawnmowers and trimmers) is essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering is a plus. A strong understanding of plant care, including soil management, fertilization, and pest control methods is beneficial.
