Summary
The Landscaping Foreman will lead and manage landscaping teams, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong leader who can train employees, oversee equipment maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety protocols while maintaining a hands-on approach to landscape installation and maintenance.
The right individual would have a company truck and salary.
Responsibilities
Lead and train new and existing crew members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Oversee daily site operations, conducting inspections and addressing issues promptly.
Coordinate project planning and execution, collaborating with management as needed.
Operate and supervise the use of heavy equipment, including skid steers, excavators, trucks, and specialized landscaping machinery.
Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer and company guidelines, and report any maintenance needs.
General landscaping tasks such as grading, sodding, interlock installation, and planting.
Requirements
Proven experience in landscaping and crew supervision.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Proficiency with heavy equipment and landscape installation techniques.
Valid driver's license and relevant certifications
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
