Hunsley & Associates Landscaping is currently looking to expand its team of dedicated members to employ a

Landscape Foreman/Crew Leader

. This is a fast paced and sometimes physically demanding work environment, but one that can be extremely satisfying with noticeable and tangible results when hard work is put in.

Job Duties(including but not limited to):

Manage and work alongside a team of 2-4 crew members. Lead installation of projects: landscaping (sod/seed, garden bed, tree pruning & removal etc.), stonework (walkways, patios, retaining walls) & excavation. Lead snow clearing teams: snow plowing, snow shoveling, snow blowing and salting & sanding. Site & soil preparation and grading. Anticipate any potential issues & plan ahead for project requirements - equipment, materials, crew needed. Coach & mentor team members to ensure productivity and a high quality of work. Monitor jobs for work quality and efficient use of time, materials and machines. Ensure all safety measures are being followed. Update the Supervisor with any issues and progress of all jobs. Track time, materials & machine usage. Maintain a tidy & well organized job site and crew truck. Interact with clients in a professional manner.

Requirements:

Must have previous experience in a landscaping leadership role. Must have minimum one-year experience working various landscaping machinery, including excavator, skid steer, and zero turn mower. Experience with both softscaping & hardscaping. Experience with snow plowing would be an asset Lead team members by example with a strong work ethic, positive attitude & and high quality of work. Ability to effectively communicate with, lead and motivate Team members. Reliable transportation to shop location in Upper Tantallon Punctuality is a must. Ability to lift 50lbs Valid Driver's License & Clean Driver's Abstract to be insurable on company vehicles.

Salary Range:

Competitive wage (to be negotiated based on experience) Range: $30.00 - $35.00 hourly. Bonuses Weekly pay schedule. Benefits & RRSP.
Uniforms provided, however, steel toed boots are required.
