The Role

We are hiring a

landscape designer

to support residential projects with

concept-level plans and 3D visuals

used during sales and pre-construction. This role is best suited to a designer who understands construction realities and budgets.

Responsibilities

Create concept landscape plans Design hardscape-forward layouts (patios, walls, steps, circulation) Build SketchUp models and client-ready 3D visuals Assist with material palettes and design intent Revise concepts based on clear, limited feedback Design with grading, drainage, access, and budget in mind

Requirements

Experience in landscape design or related field Strong SketchUp skills Understanding of hardscape construction and basic grading Ability to design for cold climates / freeze-thaw conditions Reliable communication and turnaround times

Preferred

Experience working with landscape contractors or builders Familiarity with mountain or alpine environments Practical plant knowledge (function over complexity)

Position Details

Contract / freelance Paid hourly or per project Approximately

10-20 hours per month to start

Remote work possible; local familiarity is an asset
