LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION LEAD HAND

Proscape Land Design is an award-winning Landscape Design Build Company who has been providing high-end residential design/build work in the Western GTA since 2002. We pride ourselves in the quality of our installations, high attention to detail and exceeding our customer's expectations. Our offices are in Oakville and Burlington.

We are looking for an experienced

LEAD HAND - LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION

to join our team.

What We Offer:

HOURLY RATE: $27 - $33 based on experience

Year-round full-time employment, 45 - 55 hours per week, Monday-Friday (weekend when needed)

Lead a crew in performing high-end residential design/build work

Excellent on the job training to grow and develop your skills

An ability to voice and implement new ideas with management

2-3 positions available

What You Bring:

Must Have

Minimum 3-5 years experience in high-end residential/commercial landscape design/build

A vehicle and a valid G class license with a clean drivers abstract

Ability to read and understand construction drawings

Experience with the safe operation of track loaders, mini excavators, compaction equipment and other power tools

Involves complex stonework, excavation, forming, masonry grading, lighting systems, carpentry, and planting

Good working knowledge of all hardscaping, softscaping, accent lighting, concrete, woodwork, and irrigation systems etc.

The ability to meet the physical demands of this all-season outdoor job

The ability to work well with others and be able to lead, motivate, instruct, and delegate a crew of 2 - 5 employees.

Ability to communicate professionally with clients and strive to exceed their expectations

Attention to detail, be career minded with a desire to grow with the company long term

Nice To Have

Basic First Aid training, construction industry certification

A or D license are an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
