Landscape Construction Position

Environmental Design Group is an established, award winning landscaping firm, providing landscape design, construction, residential and commercial maintenance and snow removal to our clients in the greater GTA area

for over 70 years. We boast a friendly environment with hard working professional people dedicated to delivering quality service and workmanship.

We provide higher than industry average salaries and wages and are looking for an experienced landscape construction crew leader to join our expanding team.

Construction Lead Hand

- Install and complete both hard and soft landscape projects
- Initiate and lead site works including (but not limited to): hard surface installation, grading, retaining walls, garden installation, water features, etc.
- Lead, coach and motivate crew
- Time management and record keeping (LMN)
- Equipment operation: i.e: skidsteer, excavator, etc.

Qualification

- Experience in landscape construction
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic, passionate and enthusiastic about your work
- Able to work well with a team and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Clean Class G drivers license (abstract required)/Qualified to drive truck and trailer
- Able to work outside in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wet) and perform physical work with repetitive tasks and heavy loads
- Able to wear and use required personal safety equipment and clothing, and supply CSA approved footwear
- All applicants must have their own transportation to our yard each day (no public transit to our location)

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
