Cutting Edge Landscaping

is currently seeking

experienced labourers/lead handsfor our landscaping team. Ideally, you will have at least 2 plus years of landscaping experience and experience in a lead hand capacity.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting a landscaping team, ensuring quality work is completed in a timely manner and on budget. You will be expected to steer the job performance of the team and to ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.

A background in landscaping or relevant industries as well as a clean class 5 drivers abstract would be a beneficial.

Proficiency in a skid steer a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate skid steer equipment safely and efficiently Assist with grading, trenching, and backfilling Install hardscapes (paving stone, retaining walls, etc.) Load and unload materials and tools Follow project plans and directions from supervisors Perform general landscape labour as required Maintain a clean and safe job site
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of landscaping or related construction field experience. Must have the capacity to lift and carry 50 lbs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Good technical understanding of landscaping principles and practices. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Valid class 5 driver's license Demonstrable skid steer abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
