Landscape Construction Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a Landscape Foreman/Manager to join our growing team in Kamloops BC. This role is vital for completing Landscape Construction Installations and overseeing landscaping projects. You will play a key role in shaping our new landscaping services division by meeting with customers, completing cool landscaping projects, assist in building and managing your own team. We are looking for 1 right hardworking and talented person to assist in the growth of our Landscaping Company. This job is perfect someone that has ambition in growing a business, has experience in landscape construction and equipment operation, enjoys being the boss and having the ability to manage your own team, set your own schedule, etc...
Responsibilities
Lead a team to complete landscape construction projects, including installing sod, patios, planting, mulch, rock, rock walls, etc... Read landscape plans, order materials and execute entire projects from start to finish. Assist with Business Development and Sales of the Landscaping Division when needed Quote jobs and work with other staff to estimate landscape projects Hire staff when needed Assist with setting up company branding, ordering company shirts, hats, etc... Train and teach new hires in the foundations of landscape construction
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture Ability to manage a team, deal with customers, problem solve and complete projects. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills for client interactions Equipment operating experience, including mini excavators, skid steers, etc... Strong attention to detail Valid Class 5 driver's license - Heavy Trailer Endorsement is a big asset.
