Your Role and Responsibilities:



As a Landscape Architect, you will actively shape projects from concept to completion:

Drive project schedules and ensure timely delivery of tasks. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve design excellence. Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff. Identify new project opportunities through ongoing client relationships. Represent MHBC professionally during external meetings and events. Contribute to proposal development, preparing resumes, project sheets, and other materials. Maintain accuracy and alignment with project standards and client expectations. Support construction-phase services and site activities. Integrate sustainable design practices and industry trends into work. Explore use of emerging tools and technologies to enhance design outcomes. Drive creative problem-solving and contribute innovative design solutions.

What You Bring:



We are looking for an experienced Landscape Architect who combines technical expertise with creativity and a client-focused approach. Our ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution. 3 to 6 years of progressively responsible experience in landscape architecture. Full Membership in the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA). Strong skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Lumion, and other graphic software. A solid understanding of working drawings, construction methods, and contract administration. Experience in preparing landscape plans, detail sheets, and cost estimates. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and client interactions. Experience in preparing presentations and written reports. A commitment to ongoing professional development.
