- We currently have an exciting opportunity in our PRRD location for a Landfill Supervisor Based out of either Fort St John or the Bessborough location
- Complete required documentation relating to Safety, Preventative Maintenance program and Service reporting
- Operation of landfill specific heavy equipment, specifically dozer and excavator as well as some general labor work as required for site operations
- Understand and follow Supplier maintenance guidelines for each piece of
- equipment to achieve optimum efficiency. Including, but not limited to, the following:
- Complete Equipment Checklist Sheets and routine equipment walk around assessment;
- Lubrication of all moving parts;
- Blowouts and cleaning as required;
- Verify and top up fluid levels;
- Ensure all machines are fueled and ready for work;
- Verify air filter status and address as required;
- Verify and report the condition of cutting edges, bucket teeth and all other parts susceptible to wear
- Work with current Foreman toensure sites are running as per contract requirements
- Supporting good working relationship with out clients
- Based out of either Fort St John or the Bessborough location
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the safe operation and use of heavy construction equipment typically used for landfills and other civil works (Dozer, Track Loader, Excavator)
- Class 1 or 3 license an assett
- Previous experience working in a Landfill environment is considered an asset
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends (site is open 6 days/week).
- MOLO certification or willingness to obtain it require
- Previous supervisory experience
