Full Time Permanent: Based on 40 hours per week



Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00

Location: Downtown, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a detailed oriented and experienced

Land Analyst

to join our Mineral team. This position will play a key role in managing mineral land assets, interpreting complex agreements, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of mineral rights.

Responsibilities:

Identify mineral and surface rights for specific energy projects Analyze, interpret, and administer mineral lease agreements, contracts, and related documents. Manage and maintain mineral records and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve related issues. Prepare and submit Crown applications, transfers, continuations, and lease rentals. Interpret regulatory requirements and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions Conduct regular quality checks on data and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and reports. Provide strategic input into mineral right practices Review and analyze land titles, contracts, and other legal documents related to mineral rights. Assist in the management of project timelines and budgets. Contribute to the development of business development initiatives.
Qualifications:

A degree or diploma in Energy Asset Management or Land Certificate Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst position Minimum 3 years of experience in mineral land acquisition Extensive experience with SPIN2, ISC, CS Land, and geoSCOUT Strong analytical and research skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with land management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in English
