Position Summary



The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of Oil and Gas Land Administration experience dealing with both Mineral/Contracts and Surface Land Management. You will be the sole member of the Land Department and therefore will need to work independently and proactively to ensure rentals, deadlines and reporting are met on time. Proficiency with Pandell LandWorks is a must. The position is contract and expected to be three days per week, but could expand as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities



Update and maintain mineral and surface land records in Pandell LandWorks for both AB and SK assets Initiate and execute monthly mineral and surface land rental process - work with Accounting to reconcile payments and send out invoices to partners Manage surface rent reviews according to the regulatory jurisdictions Prepare outgoing, and/or process incoming, Acquisitions & Divestitures assignment documentation Receive and act on mineral and surface stakeholder queries Receive and act on third party surface requests - include preparation and management of encroachment, proximity, crossing and road use agreements and any related invoicing Receive and act on locate requests - solicit input from Operations personnel Review and code land related invoices Work with Operations regarding stakeholder notices, invoices and agreements for well and pipeline abandonment projects Prepare and submit documents related to land title management for both AB and SK

Qualifications



5-10 years of mineral and surface land administration experience Post-secondary education in Land Administration preferred but will consider experienced candidates that meet the Key Responsibilities Experience with Pandell LandWorks but will consider highly experienced candidates in other land management platforms Experience with regulatory applications including ETS, IRIS, SPIN, ISC, OneStop, as well as GeoScout and/or AccuMap mapping/analytics platforms Must be highly motivated, able to work without supervision to meet deadlines, meticulous, detailed and well organized Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Valid Commissioner for Oaths is favourable
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
