LAMINATION OPERATOR (FULL-TIME PERMANENT)

Pay starts at $27.45/hr (Additional pay increases at 90 /180 days of service)

Overtime is paid after 42 hours per week (at 1.5x regular rate)

Shifts are rotating between Day Shift (6:00AM to 3:30 PM) & Afternoon Shift (3:30PM-1:00AM), every 2 weeks.

Earn additional $1.00/hr in afternoon shift premium pay.

North Star Windows & Doors is seeking a highly motivated individual with a safety mindset and commitment to growth to join our Lamination Team.

Must be eligible to work in Canada and 18-yrs of age or older

Must be available to biweekly shift rotation schedule:

Day shift

6:00AM-3:30PM; Afternoon shift

3:30 PM to 1:00 AM (Rotate every two weeks)

Overtime/Saturday shifts required dependent on business demands.

Key Responsibilities

Complete setup and operation of laminating machine. Changing of glue and primer on the lamination lines. Ensure quality of product, adhering to AAMA standards. Maintain and exceed production targets and set up time guidelines. Ensure all team members are operating safely. Quality control functions as required. Other duties as required.

Prior experience as operator in a manufacturing setting Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures Strong attention to detail and quality control Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong mechanical aptitude Good mathematical skills Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and problem solve. Excellent attendance record. Good physical condition. Ability to work rotating shifts and extra time as required to meet department demands
