LABOURERS 's Basement Systems Calgary Inc, a regional leader in the basement waterproofing, foundation repair, concrete lifting and radon mitigation is looking for labourer's to join our team. Our purpose is to redefine the construction industry by providing our customers with a remarkable experience. We care deeply for and strive to build a long-term relationship with each customer. Candidates should be able to commute to central Calgary with the work based mainly around the Calgary area and extending to cover Southern Alberta. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour.
Several positions available with immediate start possible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Work safely, to company standards and efficiently at all times.
• Load truck with materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Performs installation duties according to the crew leaders instruction, company-approved methods, standards, and timetables.
• Unloads and cleans the truck upon return.
• Takes great care of the company’s products, tools, and equipment.
• Provides customers with a remarkable experience.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays when necessary.
• Able to work overtime if needed.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

• Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred or the willingness and ability to learn.
• Ability and skill in operating equipment and/or power tools preferred.
• Capacity for heavy lifting on an ongoing basis
• Ability to understand and speak in English.
• Able to dig, kneel and crawl.
• Willing to work overtime and stay away on projects when required
• Take pride in your appearance and professionalism.
• Desire to learn and develop new skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Experience driving company vehicles preferred.
