Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves working on residential and commercial roofing projects (metal and shingles), assisting with various construction tasks, and ensuring quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills. Prior experience with roofing or general construction is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal/shingle roofing systems on various types of buildings Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws to complete roofing tasks efficiently and safely Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for roofing projects Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs Support carpentry tasks related to framing, sheathing, or other structural components Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on-site

Qualifications

Experience with hand tools, carpentry, or handyman work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Basic understanding of blueprint reading is advantageous Prior construction or roofing experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license is preferred for transportation to job sites (own transportation necessary)
