Country Boyz Industries is a high performance sign and graphics company servicing a wide range of industries. Country Boyz Industries' shop is located just 15 minutes SE of Calgary, AB

This position is required to work outside some of the time building and/or moving billboards, signs, installing decals, graphics and

occasionally other shop work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install signage

: Transport, prepare, and install a variety of interior and exterior signs, including illuminated, non-illuminated, vinyl, and dimensional lettering.

Site preparation

: Remove old signage, prepare the installation surface, and handle any necessary structural reinforcement.

Electrical work

: Connect electrical wiring for illuminated signs, troubleshoot issues like replacing ballasts or bulbs, and test all electrical components.

Transport and logistics

: Safely load, transport, and unload signs, tools, and equipment to and from job sites. For larger projects, this may involve operating a boom truck, crane, or other heavy machinery.

Maintenance and repairs

: Perform maintenance and repairs on existing signs, which can include repairing storm damage, replacing components, or applying new graphics.

Fabrication assistance

: Assist in the sign shop with tasks like cutting and shaping materials, welding components, applying vinyl graphics, and preparing items for installation.

Shop and vehicle maintenance

: Perform general cleaning and organization in the shop and maintain company vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements :

Legally eligible to work in Canada. Proven experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade. A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. Expertise in using a wide range of hand and power tools safely. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, working at heights, lifting heavy objects (with assistance), and working in various weather conditions. Knowledge of basic construction and electrical systems (12V and 120V) for troubleshooting. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. A solid commitment to safety protocols and a strict adherence to our drug and alcohol policy.

Desired Skills :

Certifications for aerial platforms, cranes, fall protection, and first aid. Experience with vinyl graphic installation and wrapping. Basic mechanical knowledge (small engines, bearings). Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with measurements. Ability to plan and complete tasks efficiently to meet deadlines. Willingness to work overtime as needed. A personable, easy-going attitude, and the ability to follow directions.
