Job Description

Mill Creek Painters Ltd. is hiring an

entry-level Labourer/Helper

to support our painting crews, cabinet shop, and seasonal Christmas light installation team. This role offers year-round variety for someone who enjoys hands-on work and working both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Assist painters with setup, prep, masking, sanding, and cleanup Move ladders, tools, and materials Support exterior painting prep (scraping, washing, sanding) Help with Christmas light installations (holding ladders, organizing materials) Assist in our cabinet shop with cleaning, sanding, and organizing doors Load/unload materials and maintain clean job sites

Requirements

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)

Able to work outdoors in all seasons Able to lift 40-50 lbs Comfortable on job sites and around ladders Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience with basic tools is an asset, but we will train the right person

Schedule

Full-time preferred (part-time available) Monday-Friday daytime hours Seasonal fluctuations (busy in summer and winter) Occasional weekend work during peak periods

Compensation

$18-$22 per hour
