Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking applications for Labourers/Commerical in Edmonton Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work area.
Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe.
Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean or protect them.
Operate power tools on occasion.
Follow instructions from crew lead hand and foreman.
Assist with a variety of tasks including stripping concrete, carrying lumber, digging, raking and setting up scaffold.
Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
Working in and around noise and dust
The successful candidate must possess the following skills/attributes:
Experience with commercial construction as a labourer
The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
Able to work with their hands and safely operate power tools and equipment run by gasoline, diesel, electricity, and compressed air
CSTS-09 Ticket, WHMIS 2015, Fall Pro and EWP Training
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
Must be organized and self-driven
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
The successful candidate must be able to produce a negative result on a drug and alcohol screening test and complete a mask fit test.
