Responsibilities

Assist carpenters in the construction and installation of structures such as roofs, walls, and frameworks. conrete Help with the fabrication of wooden structures and components according to specifications. Support masonry work by preparing materials and assisting in the laying of bricks or blocks. Aid in construction painting tasks, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished. Participate in flooring installation projects, including measuring, cutting, and laying materials. Utilize power tools safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced carpenters. Read blueprints and project plans to understand job requirements and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Skills

Proficiency with power tools used in carpentry and construction tasks. Basic knowledge of roofing techniques and materials. Ability to plumb structures accurately for proper alignment. Experience in fabricating wooden components or structures is a plus. Familiarity with masonry techniques is beneficial. Understanding of construction painting methods for various surfaces. Basic electrical knowledge related to construction projects is an advantage. Skills in construction estimating to assist with project planning are desirable. Competence in flooring installation techniques for different types of flooring materials. Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret plans effectively.
